Current Construction

Stanford is committed to ongoing coordination and communication throughout the construction period. Below you will find current links to current construction advisories and process updates for the remaining buildings.

The construction schedule is subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances. Please be cautious when traveling around construction sites, and follow instructions of construction signage and traffic controllers.

Current Advisories.

Saturday Work at the Munger Graduate Residence, March 7, 2009

  • Please be advised that on Saturday, March 7, there will be work activity on the Munger Graduate Residence site. The primary work will include installation of metal roof panels on Building 5. The metal roof panel installation is being expedited to enclose the building and provide protection from rain. This work is expected to be noisy.
  • Additional activity on Saturday will include dry wall installation inside Building 1 and appliance delivery to Building 1 from Campus Drive East. These activities are not expected to be noisy.

One Way Traffic Control on Bowdoin Lane Adjacent to Building 1 – through late March

  • There will be one lane traffic control on Bowdoin Lane adjacent to Building 1 through late March. This activity is necessary to install the metal roof decking and the gutters.

Arguello Mall Sidewalk Closed Adjacent to Building 1, January 20 through late March

  • Beginning Tuesday, January 20, lasting until the end of March, the sidewalk adjacent to Building 1 on Arguello Mall from Campus Drive East to Bowdoin Lane will be closed. This closure is necessary to complete the installation of roof panels for Building 1 and install the new sidewalk along Arguello Mall. The sidewalk adjacent to PS6 will remain open. Please follow posted detour signs.
